Asshole cat gets his asshole sleep

Last week, I took two sick days in a row. That’s the first time I’ve had to do that since 1992 when I missed a week of school because I was in a car accident.

So I spent it on the couch blowing my nose and coughing with purpose. I watched a lot of TV the first day, which was a mistake. (I never realized that the two most hated men in America are Obama and Bears QB Jay Cutler. And in both cases it has everything to do with healthcare.)

But spending two days with a fever and intense hatred of the back of my face led me to accept me fate, and I just rode it out, being unusually lazy and not doing anything stressful – no workouts, no writing, no blogging, no tv news (after the first eye-opening day).

The only two productive things I did last week were: 1) got my wife sick, too; 2) developed a cultured resentment of my asshole cat.

Damn it Cranor, why did you have to post this?
That cat doesn’t even look REAL. He looks like a raggy torn section of shag carpet. He does look damn comfortable though and I am JEALOUS.
